ABOUT ANNIE BURDINE, RDN, CSP, LDN

I am a pediatric dietitian and nutritionist, a lactation counselor, and a mom of 3 beautiful kiddos who have taught me just as much about feeding as all of my 10+ years of clinical experience.

Feeding your child is not always an easy job.  It is exhausting and even overwhelming. Because sometimes babies don’t want to feed when the doctor says they are supposed to.  And sometimes your toddler throws his bowl of soup onto the floor and refuses to eat anything. Sometimes your school aged child sneaks food and you worry he is eating too much.  Sometimes your teenager thinks she needs to go on a diet, but meanwhile, you fear she is getting dangerously thin. Sometimes medical diagnoses are thrown our way and complicate feeding time even more.

I can help!  I would love to partner with you, problem solve, and provide you with the best available nutrition information out there.

I started my nutrition career back in 2008 at Lehigh Valley Health Network.  In my years with the network, I worked in the hospital on the pediatric units as well as in several doctor’s offices including pediatric hematology and oncology, pediatric gastroenterology, and a pediatrician’s office.  I have worked with infants and children with many nutritional challenges including poor weight gain or failure to thrive, obesity, eating disorders, tube feedings, autism, developmental delays, picky eating or feeding disorders, premature infants, and more.

In 2014, with a growing family, I left the hospital network and began working for an independent feeding clinic where I continue to work as a consultant.
